Beware of...
There is a great old Farside cartoon where a salesman is approaching a house and is greeted at the gate by a sign reading, "Beware of Doug."
I think I liked this Far Side cartoon so much partially because my dad’s name is Doug. It still makes me laugh. On to a more serious note though! The Bible is filled with Beware of… signs. Maybe the biggest of these would say, Beware of Pride.

August 3, 2019 – It is so easy to see where all the people around me fail. Heck, I can even see where they are going to fail before it happens. It is so nice that I don’t have their same issues…right? R—i—g—h—t.

Pride really is a bugger. On one hand you want to take pride in what you do so that you’ll strive for excellence, and then the next moment you have to reject pride so that you don’t become self-centered. The key is to always seek the welfare and restoration of a person’s relationship with God. Sin damages and separates. God wants to use us to bring others back into true fellowship with him.
