The Vision
The Heart Behind Wholly Authentic Life, LLC
At Wholly Authentic Life, our desire is to help people become whole-hearted followers of Jesus who live with honesty, courage, emotional health, and deep connection with God and others. We believe discipleship is not merely the transfer of information. It is the formation of the whole person. It involves the heart, the mind, the body, the story, the relationships, the wounds, the calling, and the daily choices that shape a life. Many people today are spiritually hungry, emotionally exhausted, relationally disconnected, and quietly carrying burdens they do not know how to name. They may attend church, listen to sermons, serve faithfully, or appear strong on the outside, yet still feel stuck, lonely, anxious, ashamed, or unsure how to move forward. Wholly Authentic Life exists to create spaces where people can slow down, be honest, encounter grace, receive wise guidance, and take meaningful steps toward healing, growth, and purpose.
The Expedition We are Inviting People Into
We often describe this work as an expedition. Life with God is not a casual stroll. It is a journey of trust, surrender, courage, healing, discovery, and transformation. Every person is carrying a story. Every person is facing terrain they did not fully choose. Every person needs companions, guides, rest stops, training, and at times, a safe place to recover. Our hope is to help people walk that expedition with greater clarity, courage, and connection. Through counseling, coaching, discipleship, teaching, retreats, conferences, small groups, and experiential opportunities, we want to help people:
- Deepen their relationship with God
- Understand their story with honesty and grace
- Heal from wounds, shame, fear, and relational pain
- Grow in emotional and spiritual maturity
- Build stronger marriages, families, and friendships
- Learn to live from the heart rather than from performance
- Become more equipped to love, lead, serve, and disciple others
This is not quick-fix work. It is deep work. It is kingdom work. It is the kind of work that often happens slowly, relationally, and intentionally.
The Dream of a Basecamp
As this vision grows, we are dreaming about establishing a physical Basecamp for Wholly Authentic Life. We picture a place set apart for restoration, discipleship, and formation. A place where people can step away from daily noise and enter an environment marked by peace, beauty, truth, hospitality, and the presence of God. This Basecamp could eventually include:
- Retreats for individuals, couples, families, ministry leaders, and teams
- Conferences and training events focused on discipleship, emotional health, marriage, family, leadership, and spiritual formation
- Counseling and coaching intensives
- Equine-assisted experiences and therapy
- Outdoor events and guided experiences
- Prayer spaces and a prayer garden
- Small group gatherings and leadership development
- Writing, teaching, and curriculum development
- Restorative spaces for pastors, leaders, caregivers, and those in transition
The word “Basecamp” matters to us because it captures the spirit of what we hope to build. A basecamp is not the final destination. It is a place of preparation, healing, rest, training, and recommissioning. People come to be strengthened so they can return to the expedition with greater resilience, wisdom, and hope.
Partnering with Others Matters
We know this vision is bigger than us. For Wholly Authentic Life to grow into what we believe it can become, we need people who will walk with us. Some may partner through prayer. Some may help us make connections. Some may offer wisdom, land, resources, or practical skills. Others may give financially, whether in small monthly gifts, larger donations, or strategic investments toward land, facilities, programming, scholarships, and long-term sustainability. We believe God wants us to make our services and resources available to everyone. This includes offering options to those who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford them.
Every level of support matters because this is ultimately about people.
- It is about the couple who needs a safe place to rebuild trust.
- It is about the ministry leader who is exhausted and needs restoration.
- It is about the person who loves God but feels stuck in old patterns.
- It is about the family that needs tools for healthier connection.
- It is about the man or woman who needs to experience grace not only as a doctrine, but as a lived reality.
- It is about creating places where truth and love meet people in the deepest parts of their story.
Ways to Partner
We are inviting people to consider partnering with us in several ways:
- Prayer Partners: Those who commit to regularly pray for the people we serve, the vision God is forming, and the next faithful steps.
- Trailhead Partners: Those who help us take practical first steps through encouragement, introductions, counsel, and initial gifts.
- Campfire Partners: Monthly supporters who help sustain the ongoing work of counseling, coaching, discipleship, writing, and ministry development.
- Guide Partners: Supporters who help fund scholarships, retreats, training events, and direct care for individuals, couples, families, and leaders.
- Basecamp Builders: Strategic donors who help move the larger vision forward, including land, facilities, equine therapy, prayer spaces, retreats, and long-term infrastructure.
- Legacy Partners: Major partners who want to invest in a lasting kingdom vision that can serve individuals, families, churches, and leaders for generations.
